We had a great group of 19  split into two groups with Maria and Bill as the coordinators.   A 57 km ride turned into 65-68 km as little add-ons with extra views (and climbing) were embarked on.     The weather was perfect with occasional threatening clouds but there was no rain and quite a bit of sun.    Not too hot, not too cold - just right!

The roads were all in pretty good condition with a few fresh hole patches from the road crews. (easy to ride around).  We have heard that parts of 240 will be torn up for repair in early July so we were happy to ride before that happens.

It was also a great day for wildlife with an abundance of bluebirds! Some of us saw 2 deer coming out of the woods as we were descending at “warp speed”South on Hiway 762.
Great camaraderie and cycling on a beautiful day!
