We offer a wide variety of social and recreational rides for fun and fitness. There’s something for every age and ability!
Where do we ride? Most day-rides are in and around Calgary, Bragg Creek, Cochrane, Okotoks, Kananaskis, Canmore, Banff and Lake Louise. Multi-day tours take us further from home – for example the Shuswap, Vancouver Island, the Gulf Islands, the Maritimes, California and Mexico.
When do we ride? Every day of the week, both daytime and evening rides.
How far do we ride? Distances range from 20 km pathway rides to 200 km road rides, and everything in between.
How fast do we ride? Depending on the group and the route, our average pace may be 15-19 km/hr on pathways, 20-24 km/hr on intermediate road rides, and 25-30 km/hr on advanced and advanced+ road rides.
Who plans and organizes the rides? All rides are planned and coordinated by our dedicated volunteers!
How do I choose which rides to do? To help you find the rides you’ll enjoy the most, we rate our rides in categories from Easy to Advanced+, based on distance, elevation gain and expected pace. All ride descriptions provide information about the ride format, route/map, and safety considerations.
Do people join us with their e-bikes? Using an e-bike on one of our rides is solely at the discretion of the coordinator so check with them before going on a ride. The rider would be responsible for ensuring their bike had enough battery power to complete the distance.
