Elbow Valley Cyclists joined up with a group of Rocky Mountain Ramblers to cycle for four days in the Shuswap Area described as a Peddling Paradise. Well, not quite, because the first day was rainy and we did not start until noon. Over the four days we cycled along the north shore of Shuswap lake to Magna Bay; cycled from Caen Park to Wild Rose Bay (a lovely park at the end with old growth forest); cycled from Enderby to Mabel Lake and finally cycled from Salmon Arm to Glenemma. All the routes were out and back average 70 km. This multiday trip provided a great opportunity to meet and make new cycling buddies. We shared some great coffee stops.
