Two important ingredients for a successful ride, great club members with whom to enjoy the experience and weather conditions that are near perfect. 

We had both yesterday with the addition of autumn colours and negligible winds throughout the spin.

Some of us who can honestly say "been there and done that" ( too many times to say without embarrassing ourselves ) got the added enjoyment of watching Erika using the hills to get in a little more training and absorbing some advice from those who crank on a bit. 

Ernie as the lead photographer shared some great images of the group and nature's full palette on display.

Trips always have a superb ending with a tailgate social and this was no exception. Sorry one of us couldn't stay.
