Gorgeous weather for our tour of the Banff area! We started off with a chilly but sunny 7 degrees from Canmore and rode along the Legacy Trail to Cascade Ponds, where we talked about red chairs, but most of us did not see them and wondered what it was all about. Then we did a loop up to Minnewanka Lake and reminisced about various times that we each had been there before. We continued down to Cascade ponds and this time spied the Red Chairs! From there, we had a quiet ride through Banff thanks to some great navigating from Ernie (Dale) and proceeded to Vermillion Lakes, where we enjoyed a leisurely lunch on the dock, in the sun. The fun continued as we toured the Golf course and stopped at Bow Falls, before proceeding back to the Legacy Trail and the Canmore Visitor Centre. More red chairs were discovered along the way.
