Graham, Sal and Ted rode this circuit counter clockwise from Crossfield. It was a great day for a ride; the temperature didn't seem as hot as forecasted and the gentle breeze held the heat at bay. We rode on quiet roads taking in the wide views of rolling fields. 

We had a couple of gravel stretches of two to three km which tested our bike handling skills. I'm happy to report we passed the tests! The first section was when we turned north towards Carstairs, and the second was when we turned south, heading towards Madden. 

Back at Crossfield we enjoyed coffee, ice cream and donuts from The Donut Man which were awesome treats to cap a relaxing and enjoyable ride on a long weekend Saturday!
