On April 14th, 8 beginner/new members and guests met at the Bow Valley Ranch parking lot to enjoy a lovely afternoon riding along the Bow to Quarry Park YMCA. The purpose was to give newer members a chance to learn the ropes of group riding at a relaxed pace and shorter distance. Also, it was an opportunity to invite a guest to get on the ride. This is a good way to increase our membership.
The highlight was the canals and bridges that reminded one of our members to nickname it "Little Paris", but when we got there, one guest thought it should be renamed "Little Venice". Head down there one day and tell us what name you prefer.
