A small group of 4, ventured out on the ski trails at Peter Lougheed Provincial Park. We started uphill from the Elk Pass parking lot, towards Tyrwhitt trail and then tackled the steep up to Lookout and back via Hydroline. The Hydroline trail met us with some head wind. No escape from the wind, whether you are on a bike or skis! It was chilly from -13C at the start to -7C, but sunny and beautiful.
It was Andrea's first classic ski in many years. We were impressed on her fitness level and hill climbing skills.
The tracks were perfectly groomed, one of the best conditions this season.
