Overview:

This route follows mostly pathways from Heritage Park to Bowness Park and returns the Heritage Park on pathways, cycle lanes and quite streets.

Route Details:

The route follows the Elbow River Pathway from Heritage Park (Big H) parking lot across the Glenmore dam and North through Lindsay park to connect to the downtown Bow River pathway, then follows that West on the South side of the river through downtown Calgary and crosses the River under the Crowchild Trail bridge, heads West on the North side of the river all the way through to Baker Park, where the route cross the river South into Bowness park under the Stoney Trail Bow River Bridge.  lunch stop with restrooms at Bowness Park. Return is through Bowness and along the Bow River Pathway and through the Pumphouse Theater pathway to Scarbough and South to Heritage Park (Washrooms enroute).
