Route description:

This is a slower paced shorter intermediate century ride starting from Millarville following the scenic Sheep River valley into Kananaskis, a sister ride to the longer advanced ride.

Wear your red and white kit for this beautiful Canada Day route that heads into Sheep River, Kananaskis. 

Bring sufficient water and food for the full ride, as there are no facilities once we get into the park. 

We will have a short mid-morning rest stop at Sheep River Falls on the way back down from the turnaround point.

Social elements:

Short lunch stop at Sheep Falls day use area on the return.
Miss Marples in Millarville for refreshments after the ride.

Safety:

No cell service in Kananaskis area.

No food/water services west of Diamond Valley.

We are in bear country. Consider bringing bear spray.

We cross cattle guards several times.
