Description:

A 88km ride NW of Cochrane. Head out on Grand Valley Rd to the end.  Turnaround and head back along Grand Valley Rd to Horse Creek Rd.  We will go north to the hamlet of Bottrel.  The General Store there is a must see and offers a great selection of snacks and treats to refuel to get you back along Horse Creek Rd to the car park.
Our starting point is at Midford Pond and then once through the residential area, we will ride about 4.5km on Highway 1A which can be busy.  Single file is a must.  Grand Valley & Horse Creek are nice quiet roads. 

We will re-group after Hwy 1A and turning onto Grand Valley Rd, again at the jcn of Twp280 & GV road, GV road and HC road and Bottrel. Then it is a straight go along HC road for the car park.
