The plan is to arrive in Kimberley about June 8, ride June 9-12, and leave about June 13.

The Kimberley Nordic centre seems to be the best access to a lot of mountain biking. It’s up near the ski hill, so it would be good to stay up there. There are a lot of condos and apartments for short term rentals.

The cross-country ski trails offer easy riding, and there are more well-built mountain biking trails for intermediate riding. They are mostly gravel and don’t get mucky in wet weather.

Typical riding days might be 200 m climbing and 10 km. If we stay up near the ski hill then we can easily shorten or lengthen our time out.

All services are available downtown which is a 10-minute drive from the alpine area.
