RIDE - LEVEL: Intermediate: 7-9% hills and rapid descents (7.5%.) See elevation profile with the route map below.

Route:
We go south on Priddis Valley Rd, traversing a quiet tree lined ridge, left onto Plummers Rd., across the 22 and along another ridge south. We then climb past a small lake.
Our reward for the first climb is a fast, smooth descent down the "Old Road to Nepal."
Part way up the New Road to Nepal we turn off and a steep climb gets us to Leighton Art Centre for lunch. (Picnic tables, pink chairs, and a view of the Rockies.) No food available, bring your own.
On the return we have another long descent, then back across 22, along Plummers, north on 240 ST. with an optional side trip to the pavement end on Coal Mine Rd. (Route map below.)
Options for tailgate, or a libation at the Water's Edge Pub.
