Description:

• Good introduction to gravel riding around Calgary. Don't let the pace fool you, this is an advanced ride due to the varied surface conditions.

• Shane Homes YMCA by the hockey rink on the north side of the property.

• Be aware of changing road conditions 

• Washroom facilities at the YMCA  

• Bring on bike snacks. We will have regular stops and the pace will adjust according to the road conditions and participants . 

• Be sure to bring a spare tube and lots of water

• There should be full cell coverage for this ride 

• Bikes with a tire width of at least 40mm is recommended. There are sections where the gravel is large and loose that is why this ride is rated Advanced. Please feel free to contact me if you have any concerns.
