Banff to Castle Junction, Int, 62km, 664m, DougMcCulloch

NOTE:  ALTHOUGH THIS IS A ROAD RIDE, THE RIDE IS ESPECIALLY AIMED AT URBAN RIDERS -  EASY/MODERATE PACE.

A unique opportunity to cycle this scenic route while closed to vehicle traffic.  Don't forget your park pass or buy a day pass at the park gates.

We will meet on the back row of the Fenlands Rec Centre (google map link) where washrooms are available.  (Parking at the community lot near the train station is also available.)  

Picnic lunch at Castle junction where drinks are available.  As this is an out and back ride, people may choose to turn around at an earlier point but all riders should ride with at least one other person.  There will be a sweep.

Some outhouses along route are open, some closed.  Full facilities available at Johnston Canyon and near Castle Junction.
