Elbow Lake to Burns Falls MTB, Adv+, 40km, RoyScarisbrick

Meet at the Elbow Lake trailhead at 09:00. Ride to Elbow Lake, Elbow River, Tombstone, down the Sheep River, in to Burns Falls or Burns Lake. I've biked to both of these locations in the past. Either location requires some navigating and hiking.

About 40 km if we go all the way to the falls, mostly double-track. Some bouldery trails, creek crossings. You should consider this as a full day in the backcountry. We'll need to check on creek levels in the area beforehand because the route uses the Sheep riverbed a bit.

Bear spray and clear lenses would be good things to bring as well as the usual tools, tube, pump, first aid kit.

If you use an e-bike be aware that we'll be riding creek crossings and will have to lift the bike over some obstacles.
