Route follows the Bow River pathway North and then East through Quarry Park and Riverbend and connects with the canal pathway (yes; the bad root section has been re-paved) to get to Chestermere. The route goes around the lake CCW over an 800 meter section of hard gravel at the south side of the lake then North around the lake with a stop at Anniversary park, (benches, washrooms, rest stop) and then returns via canal pathway and etc,   The route is mostly pathways, some are new and seldom used.  Some quiet residential streets. The forecast is for a 14˚C start and favourable winds;) and maybe the pathways will be dry.
