Ride level: Intermediate

Distance: approximately 22 to 27 km

Pace: 15 - 20 kph pathway speed limit is 20 kph

Elevation Gain: 125 m

We park in the southeast portion of the Edworthy park parking lot on the south side of the railway tracks

Wheels roll at 10:00 a.m.

We will travel east on the south pathway and back upstream on the north. Detours may be required.

( subject to north side closures due to construction )


We will use the supermajority method of voting to determine if the group will include any of these 3 extensions.


1. Up the Elbow to the Reader Rock garden. beautiful flowers which will require at least 20 minutes to walk through. ( locks should be used ) Add 5.2 kms.

2. Further east down the Bow to Harvey Passage to view the recent improvements made to challenge paddlers. Add 4.8 kms

If either of these are chosen then we will be stopping at Made by Marcus Ice Cream on our return.

3. A detour onto Prince's island on our return to people watch and view geese and park enhancements. Add less than 2 kms.

Newcomers welcome. Regrouping at corners as required

E-Bikes --yes

Tailgating after event. Bring cool libations, a hat and a chair. Some of us will be riding to the event so we will use a picnic bench as part of the group seating.
