Note:  Please arrive 15min before the start time 

Route follows the Bow River pathway North and then East through Quarry Park and Riverbend and connects with the canal pathway to get to chestermere but avoids the root damaged asphalt of the canal pathway.  The route goes around the lake CCW over an 800 meter section of hard gravel at the south side of the lake then North around the lake with a stop at Anniversary park, (benches washrooms rest stop) and then returns via canal pathway and etc,   The route is mostly pathways, some are new and seldom used.  Some wide streets in light industrial areas with some truck traffic.
