Route description:

This ride goes via Legacy Trail from Canmore past beautiful views of Lake Minnewanka, Johnson Lake, Tunnel Mountain Road and the spectacular route of the Banff Springs Golf Course. Return back via Legacy Trail.

In case of a large group, at the beginning of the ride, we will self seed into two subgroups faster and slower. Please know the route to be prepared.

Meeting spot:

Parking lot of Canmore Visitor Information Centre

Time:

• Arrive at least 15 minutes early
• Wheels rolling at 9:30 a.m.  
• Out of respect for those who arrive on time, we won't wait for latecomers.

Safety elements:

• Consider carrying bear spray
• There are areas without cell service
• Be self-sufficient; carry tools and be prepared to perform simple bike maintenance
• We will regroup at important intersections

We will not be stopping for the lunch break, please bring snacks. There will be after ride tailgate in the parking lot.
