How to Use Ride With GPS App on Mobile Devices

Don and Beth will show you how to get started with this very useful and free new navigation tool.

This session is for all members.  Participants will learn how to link their free mobile app to the EVCC's route library and how to display the club's route maps on their smart phones, complete with turn by turn vocal navigation.

Participants should download and install the free Ride With GPS app from Google Play or the App Store.

Once you have installed the app on your mobile device, go to the EVCC website's Member Resources Tab and click Ride With GPS. 

Then click the link in the second sentence in Step 2.

We'll do a Q&A and discuss how mobile devices compare to dedicated GPS devices, various methods of keeping your device in ear-shot while riding, how to limit battery consumption and how to log your rides on your device etc.
