Drumheller - 2 days. Intermediate. Sue G

 ROAD RIDE - LEVEL INTERMEDIATE

Coordinator:  Sue Gillies

Distance:  130 kms (50 day 1, 80 day 2)

Pace:  About 20 kmph

Elevation Gain:  400m day 1, minimal day 2

On both days we will start at 10am at the Big Dinosaur at the Drumheller Rec Centre (please arrive 15 minutes before so that we can launch on time).  On Friday we will ride the Dinosaur Trail counterclockwise.  On Saturday we will ride to Dorothy and back with a side-trip to Wayne on the way out.  

You are responsible for making your own accommodation arrangements.  I have a reservation at the Quality Inn.  Camping is also an option, but be aware that temperatures are forecast to be on the chilly side.

I plan to take in the Rosebud Theatre performance on Friday night at 8PM and enjoy the buffet dinner before the show (available from 5:30).  I hope you'll join me.  It looks like there are plenty of tickets available.  It is your responsibility to book your own.    

Please note that it is a club policy that all participants for multiday rides are fully vaccinated.

Please bring a lunch each day in addition to appropriate layers for the weather.  Spare tube, pump and all the usual stuff as well, please.
