From Symon's Valley Ranch market to Airdrie, then Crossfield and Madden. Stop at Madden Golf course on their deck for snacks/lunch (bring your own as their selection is limited). You can refill your water bottles there.

Note that parts of this route have some traffic and riders should be comfortable riding on the shoulder.  The way back from Madden is simply beautiful with blooming canola fields and rolling downhill.
