Route description:

Avoiding Hwy 22X, this fondo tours scenic rolling roads connecting Priddis, Black Diamond, Turner Valley, Millarville, and Brown Lowery Provincial Park. Uses many backroads to minimize highway travel. Hope to enjoy some fall colours along the way. Start/finish in Bragg Creek.

Time:

• Arrive between 9:30 and 9:45 a.m.
• Pre-ride huddle and safety moment at 9:50
• Wheels rolling at 10:00 a.m.  
• Out of respect for those who arrive on time, we won't wait for latecomers.

Social scene:

• Longer snack stop in the Turner Valley park and picnic area.
• Apres-ride social at appropriate social gathering distance in or near the parking area following our ride. BYO LC&R (lawn chairs and refreshments)

Safety:

• It's fall in the foothills! So remember to plan for variable and unpredictable weather, with a chilly morning start.
