Calgary Circle Park Tour

Coordinator: Craig Pearn and Ken Parent. This is the second group departing from Shouldice Athletic Park and will be coordinated by Craig Pearn.

Distance: 75km. Intermediate.

Hills: Lynwood Ridge, Mackenzie Ridge, Shannon Terrace/37 Street SW, Weaselhead climb into N Glenmore Park.

Elevation change: 539 meters. Intermediate.

Urban riders looking for a bit more of a challenge. Will loop around city starting in Shouldice park. From here we follow bow river pathway past Inglewood bird sanctuary through Beaverdam flats to Carburn park, onto Quarry park then climb Mckenzie ridge & down into Fish creek park, exiting at W end & travel past ring road construction to Glenmore weaselhead area exiting at 37St & W to sarcee pathway & down into Edworthy park & back to Shouldice. Majority 90% of travel on pathways - remainder on city streets with traffic. Bring lunch & snacks as will stop at various locales to rest & re-fuel.
