University, Arbour Lake and Hamptons 35

This figure 8 circuit is almost all on bicycle pathways, most of them recently repaved and smooth.

From the start on 40th Ave NW, the route goes through the University of Calgary, circles back along the John Laurie Blvd., transits the Dalhousie and Ranchlands pathways, and emerges into Crowfoot Crossing. Our picnic lunch is in a small park close to Tim Horton's, Crowfoot. Afterward, the route travels through Arbour Lake, crosses the bridge at Country Hills Blvd, and continues through Citadel and Hamptons. The route next descends along the Edgemont pathways, crosses the pathway used earlier in the day in Dalhousie, and finishes by going through Varsity back to the start.

The ride will have regrouping at intervals, corner guiding if necessary, and a sweep. Please arrive 15 minutes before start.
