Chris Willard & Laurel Smith

Pace: 27-30 kph flats (no wind),

TGIM: Welcome to our little counter clockwise route to start off the week.  It's a good not too long workout. We have added a couple loops for variety and fun and to make a cool looking map too!

Elevation gain: 352m (Map is approximate and may change slightly depending on weather and abilities of group members). * Note, on this route there is a fast short downhill where you will want to be prepared to take your lane.  Also, Lower Springbank is open.

TGIM is a regular Monday ride led by Chris Willard and Laurel Smith. It's a great way to ease back into the week with a ride that's not too long.  We will meet at Edworthy Park next to the parking lot on the north side of the river by the public washrooms near Angel's Cafe. This is a ride for intermediate and advanced riders. We will maintain a moderate pace, in this friendly no drop ride. We will wait at tops of hills and at major turns for the group to reassemble. Be prepared for some climbing especially at the start. A couple sections have more traffic along Springbank Road where the shoulder is slightly narrower for example. Front and back lights are highly recommended for all road rides. There are some wonderful views on this route and the ride provides a great way to improve strength. We return back to Edworthy. Please point out all road debris, potholes, gravel and signal stops and turns to other riders. No pace line or overlapping wheels please. We stop for all stop signs and red lights. The reward factor for this ride is rated high. :) See you there!
