Mallard Point, Silverado, Evergreen 50

This circle ride starts at Mallard Point, follows the Bow River pathway south and through the Lafarge Meadows, and turns upwards at Chaparral Valley. Entering Chaparral, it circles the lake on a pathway. Afterward, the route uses the 194 Street connector to link up with Silverado for a tour of that community. We have a picnic lunch there.

We will skip Spruce Meadows as originally planned. We were going to visit at the time of the Masters' International show jumping competition, but the grounds are closed. Instead we will visit the new communities of Belmont and Yorkville on the way.

Afterward, the route heads north and west through Bridlewood and Evergreen. The route follows the Evergreen Estates pathway and then turns east through Shawnee Slopes until it crosses Fish Creek into Canyon Meadows.  The route next travels around Bonavista Lake and through Bonavista Downs and Diamond Cove, before finishing on the Bow River pathway back to Mallard Point.

Location: Mallard Point on the Bow River. Directions: Drive south on Bow Bottom Trail; turn left on Canyon Meadows; enter the Canyon Meadows park and curl left into the Mallard Point parking lot.

• The system will notify the event and open it for registration two weeks beforehand.
• The ride will have a sweep, and regrouping as necessary. 
• Bring lunch, snacks, and water. 
• Bring a mask, gloves, and sanitizer in case of a flat, accident, or use of a washroom. 
• Please arrive 15 minutes before the start.
