West Bragg Creek-Hills and Backroads

Road Ride: Intermediate

Pace:  20-23 kph

There are many km of great riding on paved roads in West Bragg Creek.  We'll tour some scenic residential neighborhoods, including Elkana Estates, Wild Rose Estates, Fawn Hills, Elk Valley, The Highlands, and then with an option of riding out to Wintergreen.  All of this is on paved roads with very little traffic.  We'll ride at a pace of about 20-23 kph on the flat stretches, and a bit more leisurely through the hilly subdivisions.  We'll tour through woodlands and rolling pastoral acreages, with views of the mountains, water features, birds and wildlife.  The ride will be very similar to the map below, except somewhat shorter.

Let's meet at the Bragg Creek Community Center at 10:45 for an 11:00am launch.

Bring a bike repair kit, helmet, water, and snacks.  Washrooms are available in the Community Center.
