From Confederation Park take quiet streets to the 14th St NW pathway, entering Nose Hill opposite Berkley Gate NW. Set a climbing pace suitable for studying wildflowers. Stop if you see a deer. Coffee at Friends in Edgemont.

Return across the plateau to the mountain viewpoint. Descend to the John Laurie pathway and back to Confederation Park. Round trip is 20 km with 180 meters of climbing.
