Turner Valley - Okotoks 70

Road Ride:  Intermediate to Advanced

Distance:  70 km

To finish off the Canada Day camping weekend, we will pack up and drive to Turner Valley to start this ride.  We will meet at the Sheep River bridge on Decalta Rd.  There is a small parking on the north west side of the bridge.

Ride south across the river to 16 ave SE (TR 200) and ride this road east to Okotoks. Have a break at the park or coffee shop, there is the Home Ground, Tribal Connection and the Big Dipper Ice Cream Shop close to Old Town Plazza. Re-group and ride west on #549 to the #22 south.  We will stop/re-group at the Millarville race track turn off, as some may want to take in the show/market here.  Continue west to #22 and return to Turner valley.  There will be Canada Day celebrations and parades going on in each town, so we may be able to catch some of the action, and/or enjoy the food.
