Road ride Forget-me-not Pond - Maria

Type of ride:  Intermediate due to climbing,  moderate speed.  18-23 kph.  

Elevation Gain:  ~ 880 meters

Enjoy beautiful Kananaskis riding!  Riders must be comfortable with big hills, cattleguards and possible cows and horses on the road.  We will cycle through Bragg Creek provincial park out to Hwy 66 and proceed to the end of the paved road, then make a left turn where the road turns into dirt to stay on the pavement to Forget-me-not pond.   Make a left at the first entry that says Forget-me not Pond.    Since this ride is an out and back,  we may not wait for everyone along the way but will convene at Forget me not Pond.

Bring a lunch - we will stop for a picnic lunch at Forget-me-not Pond before returning to Bragg Creek.

Must have a well maintained road or touring bike.   Bring a helmet, lots of water, spare tube, toolkit and appropriate clothing.    Please contact the coordinator if you are unsure if this ride is for you.
