Enjoy a spring ride south of the city! We might even see some bluebirds back from the south! We will head south on 240 to Plummers Road, turn right and continue up the hill past Brown Lowery Park, then down to join with 762. Then we will turn left on 762, continuing to 549, where we will turn left again continuing to 240 St, where we will turn left and cross the "Banana bridge". From here, we will follow 240 St north to meet Plummers Rd and then turn right on Plummers Rd to continue back, making the next right turn on Plummers Rd again to continue down the hill and then make a left at Priddis Valley Road. This route is about 48 km. There is an option to add some mileage by turning left at the junction with Plummers Rd on the way back and heading towards Brown Lowery Park again as an out and back. If folks decide to do this, please let the coordinator know. The coordinator will stop at major intersections to make sure that no one is left behind. Other riders are welcome to go ahead as long as they let the coordinator know what their plan is and they know where they are going. Coffee or other beverages will be an option at the end of the ride.
Bring some layers. The starting temperature is forecast to be about 9-10 degrees and there will be some light wind. Also, bring water, a snack, a helmet ,a spare tube and small toolkit.
